Embedded Software Engineer (f/m/d)

The Role:

• Software design and development for Machine Vision Solution
• Part of encourage software development team to find software platform solutions
• Responsible for evaluation and validation of embedded processor (CPU, GPU, AI) technologies
• Interface to Hardware Development Department
• Work in image processing for embedded systems
• Find and implement standardized software interfaces for industry 4.0 and IoT

What we expect of you:

• Master in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Professional experience in software development of hardware-related concerns for embedded systems
• Profound experience in programming with C/C++ on embedded (Linux) operating systems
• Desirable advanced knowledge of one of these skills:
  • Linux Kernel Configuration or Development
  • Product development in Image Processing
  • FPGA- or Realtime- software development
• Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, V-Modell und Software Deployment are well-known
• Take ownership for software implementation in readability, maintainability and testability for your software solutions
• Very good communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
