The energy sector is transitioning. Not just from fossil fuel sources to renewable sources, but across all energy sector operations there is a shift towards increasing productivity and reducing costs to remain competitive. Our solutions bring Industry 4.0 to the factory and the field.

 

 

  • LNG: We utilize market-leading LNG experience to custom-design compression and expansion technology that fits your application. Our turbocompressors, screw compressors and turboexpanders help drive the global LNG industry. This calendar features our high-pressure Boil Off Gas (BOG) compressor.

 

  • Wind Energy: We help wind energy customers save time and money. How? Through our efficient bolting solutions which include hydraulic wrenches, bolt tensioners, electric and battery tools like the Tensor Revo HA electric nutrunner, the world’s most productive bolting tool. Our GA VSD+ compressor guarantees reliable air production with substantial energy savings. Notably, our PTS 1600 compressors create bubble curtains that protect marine life during the setting up of offshore wind towers.

 

  • Solar Energy: Our new user-friendly solar-powered LED light tower, the HiLight S2+, enables users to reduce CO2 emissions by up to six tonnes compared with traditional technologies. We’re also investing heavily in solar panels to provide the power for our most energy-intensive manufacturing and logistics sites. A case in point is our Chakan plant, which used solar energy to meet 80% of its energy needs.

Energy efficiency is a top priority for Atlas Copco, and we are proud of how this modern factory in India is setting a new standard for manufacturing facilities. This is a win-win as it benefits the environment and our bottom line.
