Following up our progress
Share of female employees
In 2022, we invested in educating our internal recruiting specialists in the areas of data-driven and inclusive recruitment, including a focus on driving awareness about bias in the recruitment process and how to write more inclusive job ads to attract a more diverse pool of candidates. The biggest diversity gap across the Group is within gender balance. We address this through a target of 30% women in the Group by 2030.
In 2022, progress was made towards a better gender balance with 21.6% (20.9) of women in the workforce by year-end.
Employee engagement survey
Atlas Copco conducts a global employee survey every two years. The survey brings important insights in four areas: employee engagement, Group culture, safety and leadership.
The results of the survey are followed up in mandatory workshops led by our managers, where concrete actions are shaped to further strengthen our culture.
How our targets relate to the UN Global Goals
Global Goal 5: Gender equality
Atlas Copco promotes inclusion and diversity and strives to improve the gender balance at all levels in the Group. The President and CEO has established and chairs a Diversity and Inclusion Council and the business areas and divisions have established their own related task forces.
Global Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth
Atlas Copco requires all business partners to comply with our Code of Conduct. Child labor or forced labor is not tolerated and compliance is assessed and audited. Atlas Copco ensures the right to collective bargaining and expects the same of our business partners.
