Technical Support Engineer required to join the Power Technique Division of Atlas Copco. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise and develop existing skills and become the main point of contact for key accounts.
On a day to day basis you will: · Provide customers with technical support for their Atlas Copco generators, lighting towers, compressors & centrifugal/piston pumps. · Carry out on-site diagnostics and provide customer support to resolve technical and application problems. · Create and submit all warranty claims for your product lines and manage the claim to its conclusion. · Be responsible for all service bulletins that relate to your product lines. · Provide customers with explanations as to why work required is either warranty or chargeable. · Support service administration with the preparation and creation of quotes and follow up. · Provide on-site and remote support for service engineers. · Promote & sell Parts & Service products. · To provide a first class level of customer support to our customers and the external teams. ·
· Technical knowledge of generators and compressors. · Proven experience of Customer Support. · Self-Motivated. · Organised. · Able to work individually and as part of a team. · Excellent interpersonal skills. · Good standard of presentation skills. · PC literate
This role is Field based covering the UK Successful applicant will have the appropriate right to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence.
