The role

      

The business systems analyst works alongside the operating teams to solve problems encountered in the manufacturing system as well as implement continuous improvement activities.   This is a highly dynamic role that has exposure to all business lines and IT related projects, creating a highly varied and exciting work environment as the analyst will be challenged to solve complex, business critical issues within the operation.  This role will require the individual to be a self-managed, naturally curious individual who is pursuing a fast paced, challenging environment in which to develop their skills.

  • Assist in solving technical issues within the ERP system, pertaining to MRP, logistics and finance
  • Develop custom solutions to manufacturing issues by incorporating in-house developed as well as third party solutions
  • Develop, document and deploy advanced reporting functionalities across business lines
  • Work closely with the local ERP Manager as well as Business Systems Analysts in affiliated companies, including international affiliates, to coordinate and align solutions between locations
  • Maintain internal database and applications to ensure smooth operations

Skills and experience

  • 1-3 years of proficiency in the function of and transaction processing in Relational Databases (specifically SQL & MS Access)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area preferred, or Associates degree with 3+ years of similar experience.
  • System integrations, i.e. integrating third party tools into the business systems
  • Knowledge of ERP & MRP system functions and features as they apply to a manufacturing environment
  • Extensive Knowledge of MS Office & expanded product lines (Visio, Project, Power BI, Etc.)
