This brief module on Unconscious Bias explores the origins of bias and strategies to mitigate its impact in the workplace. It covers the definition of bias, its sources, various types commonly seen in professional settings, and actionable steps to reduce bias within our workplace interactions.

 

The Unconscious Bias Facilitator's Guide serves as a companion resource to the e-learning module, aiding in facilitating team discussions post-training. It supports participants in reflecting on the e-learning content—understanding unconscious bias, its origins, impact, and methods to minimize biases. The guide prompts conversations, encouraging teams to share their learnings from the course and strategize on practical implementations within their workplace.

DiverseCT program

The DiverseCT program is a comprehensive initiative in the Compressor Technique Business Area, designed to engage Global Leaders, Business Leaders, and local D&I ambassadors through a series of impactful events. These events delve into four compelling and pertinent topics central to Diversity and Inclusion.

 

  •  The program covers Removal of Bias, emphasizing the eradication of biases in decision-making processes.
  • It also explores Empowerment, aiming to strengthen individuals and communities.
  • Additionally, the program addresses Mental Health Mindfulness, promoting awareness and support for mental well-being.
  • Lastly, it delves into the critical theme of Inclusion, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

Through these focused discussions and activities, DiverseCT seeks to drive meaningful change and promote a more inclusive and diverse corporate culture.
