Supporting academic excellence through the Dr Erik Johnsson scholarship fund
We are committed to fostering innovation and education. Since 1976, we have supported the Dr Erik Johnsson Scholarship Fund, established to empower students at Linköping University pursuing studies in technical and economic disciplines.
The scholarship is designed to encourage international academic experiences and research, helping students deepen their expertise and broaden their perspectives. Every other year, a ceremony is held—alternating between Atlas Copco Group headquarters in Sickla and Epiroc in Örebro—reflecting the strong collaboration between our companies in supporting student development.
Originally funded through a 500,000 SEK donation from Atlas Copco Group, the scholarship fund has grown significantly over time. It continues to provide financial support for studies and research, both in Sweden and abroad, reinforcing our long-standing commitment to education and innovation.
