Stockholm, Sweden, May 20, 2013: Bob Fassl has decided to resign from his position as President of the Atlas Copco Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area per July 31.

“Bob has made significant contributions to the development and successful growth of Atlas Copco,” said Ronnie Leten, President and CEO of Atlas Copco. “After 30 years of global travelling he will move home to Canada to spend more time with his family. We will miss him but understand this decision and wish him all the best.”
Bob Fassl started his Atlas Copco career in 1982 within service and has during his years managed executive positions in Canada, the U.S., Sweden and the U.K. He has been instrumental in developing Atlas Copco’s mining and rock excavation business and is recognized for the company’s strong global position.
