Stockholm, Sweden, April 11, 2013: Atlas Copco’s U.S.-based Quincy Compressor LLC has agreed to acquire National Pump & Compressor’s air compressor business in the state of Illinois, USA.

Quincy will open a new company store that will serve as a base for the sale and servicing of Quincy’s products in the Illinois region. The business being purchased has distributed Quincy products for more than 60 years.

About 45 employees will join Quincy Compressor through this acquisition, which is expected to close before the end of April 2013.
