The new customer center, Atlas Copco Central America S. A., will market products such as drill rigs, consumables and parts for both underground and surface operations. The customer center also offers exploration, construction and ground engineering equipment and compressors.
One important project in the region is the Panama Canal expansion to which Atlas Copco has already delivered drilling rigs.
“We see good business opportunities in this dynamic region, especially in construction,” says Björn Rosengren, Business Area President Atlas Copco Construction and Mining Technique. “The new customer center provides a solid base for growth and enables us to offer customers a wider range of products and give them closer support.”
The customer center will initially employ approximately 15 people.
