Atlas Copco company in China receives environmental certification

Stockholm, Sweden, February 10, 2006: Atlas Copco’s manufacturing unit in Xuanhua-Zhangjiakou, China, has been granted ISO 14001 certification for its operations according to its documented environmental policy. With the recent certification, 98.7% of the Atlas Copco Group's production sites in China are ISO 14001 certified, and 85% worldwide, both calculated in relation to Cost of Goods Sold.
Atlas Copco (Zhangjiakou) Construction and Mining Equipment Ltd has implemented an integrated quality and environmental management system.
