Our Safety and Health Award was established in 2012 to honor outstanding commitment and performance in the safety and health area. It aims to promote and inspire operational entities within Atlas Copco Group to improve the safety and health for employees and other stakeholders.

This year we award Product company (PC) Asan for it's innovative use of technology to deliver measurable improvements in safety.

PC Asan is a newly established manufacturing site in Asan City, South Korea, operating in a high‑risk environment with hazardous gas laboratories, clean‑room production, and advanced manufacturing. Despite rapid growth, the site embedded safety and health into its operations from the start by adopting a structured, digital, and preventive safety approach.

This has led to clear, measurable results such as one million injury‑free working hours, zero incidents in hazardous gas laboratory operations during 2025, and significantly improved emergency response times through smart digital systems.

PC Asan shows how technology, proactive risk prevention, and a strong safety culture can go hand in hand to protect people while supporting fast‑growing operations.
