Our Environmental Award was established in 2004 to honor outstanding performance in preserving the environment for future generations. It aims at promoting and inspiring operational entities within Atlas Copco Group to minimize negative environmental impact. The award winner is selected by the Group's Sustainability Council.

This year we award Product company KRACHT in Werdohl, Germany, for its Energy Optimization System (EOS). The project team has been rethinking the existing energy system at the site, significantly reducing and optimizing energy consumption using our own products, and increasing the share of renewable energy. The result is a smarter, more resilient energy system that not only reduces environmental impact but also strengthens operational efficiency and independence.
