Right now, we are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a passion for Linux and C to join our diverse team.
Your role
As a Software Engineer in our multinational R&D department, you are instrumental in developing high-quality software within an agile environment. From analyzing trends and customer needs to maintaining and improving our Linux platform. Together with your colleagues and in close collaboration with Marketing and other departments, you design and implement new solutions from the initial idea to the final product, delivering high-quality features.
City: Nacka, Stockholm. We have a hybrid workplace.
You will need
We are looking for an experienced engineer with a solid background in embedded C programming and Linux platform development. We believe that you have:
- A technical university degree or a Master of Science in Software Engineering
- Practical experience with Linux for embedded systems and platform maintenance
- Experience in low-level programming and board support development, such as drivers, bootloaders, and kernel modifications
- Ability to read and utilize hardware specifications and schematics, as well as understanding low level protocols, interfaces, and debugging
- An understanding of network technologies, including wireless networks
