Your role

As a Production Technician, your mission is to be responsbile for the assembly of adhesive dispensing equipment. You will report to the Production Manager. 

This is a 1st shift opportunity: 6am-2:30pm.  

You will

    • Assemble dispensing systems
    • Troubleshoot issues with equipment, using testing instruments 
    • Inspect and perform quality control checks 
    • Log into daily schedule and complete assigned tasks
    • Escalate any issues/concerns
    • Resolves and test finished products, debugs electrical, mechanical and software issues dynamically 
    • Maintains clean, organized workstation 
    • Adheres quality and safety standards and participate in safety initiative
    • Document required production documents
    • Coordinate with Quality, Project Engineering, Project management teams related to issues on work shop

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly in a production environment
    • Ability to learn computer programs
    • Knowledge and skills in the construction, operation, and hazard recognition of electrical systems and equipment
    • Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics
    • Ability to use basic hand tools along with industry instruments including a voltage detector and caliper
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
    • Continuous improvement mindset: ability to implement new processes and ideas
    • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize conflicting tasks, manage time effectively, and make certain independent decisions
    • Ability to stand for the majority of an 8 hour work shift; 6 or more hours typically
    • Ability to lift up to 35-40 pounds periodically; lift assist available as needed.
    • High School Diploma or GED Required
