Field Service Engineer - Kingsdown Compressed Air Systems Ltd
The role:
- Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on all brands of air compressors,dryers, gas generators, and ancillary equipment. Preventative maintenance will also beconducted
- Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment, determine possiblecauses for malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment.
- Document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software.
- Develop relationships with customers
- Provide basic tools to accomplish job along with normal maintenance of tools andequipment.
- Develop by learning VSD's, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and airaudits.
- Respond to customer needs and work to satisfy customer expectations.
- Participate in a rotating on - call schedule and be able to work overtime on short notice.
- Promote the Atlas Copco "Way". Learn and share knowledge, experiences and training withteammates to increase one's own knowledge and knowledge of others.
- Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protectiveequipment.
- Work as a team sharing knowledge with colleagues and participate in training of self andothers
- Contribute to positive Company branding by maintaining a professional and customer-oriented image
- Take whatever action is appropriate and required
To succeed, you will need:
- Previous experience in an industrial electrical or mechanical position
- Mechanical or electrical qualification. Although, we understand you might be qualified byexperience
- Full UK driving licence – with less than 4 points
- Computer literacy, can learn new systems.
- Flexibility to participate in the call out rota
- You will work on-site, and will need to travel throughout your region
