Main Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted operations partner to the Engineering Manager and the wider Engineering leadership team, ensuring effective coordination of meetings, schedules, communications, and follow-up activities so that the team remains well-organized and focused.
- Consolidate and maintain key engineering information—including headcount, hiring pipeline, attrition, Capex, software assets, and organization structure—ensuring data is accurate, up to date, and presented in clear, actionable formats.
- Own and maintain regular engineering reports, trackers, and management summaries, ensuring leadership has timely and structured visibility into team status, resource allocation, and key operational metrics.
- Review and cross-check engineering data to ensure accuracy, identify gaps, and track progress against plans, supporting reliable reporting and effective follow-through across the organization.
- Support KPI tracking and reporting processes by maintaining data consistency and visibility.
- Manage R&D administration and compliance requirements, including engineering registration, KOITA-related documentation, audit follow-up, and other government-related submissions.
- Prepare clear and well-structured reports, presentations, and management materials using Microsoft Office, collaboration platforms, and AI-enabled tools to communicate information effectively.
- Apply digital and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency in reporting, data organization, document preparation, and meeting readiness, while ensuring data confidentiality and security.
- Coordinate onboarding, training, internal events, and visitor arrangements, and support travel and expense processes for the Engineering Manager and key stakeholders.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- College degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
- Good English and Korean communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare professional emails, reports, and presentation materials.
- Previous experience in administrative support, team coordination, data management, reporting, or business support is preferred.
- High level of computer literacy with confident, practical use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Ability to use data effectively for reporting, tracking, and information organization, with strong attention to accuracy, structure, and consistency.
- Ability and willingness to use AI-enabled tools effectively and responsibly to improve productivity in document drafting, summarization, translation support, meeting preparation, data organization, and follow-up tracking.
- Strong ownership, accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through when managing multiple priorities and time-sensitive requests.
- Professional, service-minded communication style with the ability to work effectively with engineers, managers, HR, Finance, IT, visitors, and external contacts.
Scope of the job
- Geographical scope: Regional role, primarily supporting the Engineering organization of the Cheonan Product Company.
- Interaction scope: Engineering Manager, Engineering leadership team, technical managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders including HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, external service providers, and relevant government or association contacts as required.
- Nature of work: A high-impact operations coordination role that supports engineering execution across two complementary areas—structured reporting and information management (~50%), and meeting coordination, follow-up tracking, and people-related operational support (~50%)—ensuring strong visibility, consistency, and disciplined execution across the organization.
- Work cycle: Regular management reporting and KPI tracking activities, including monthly headcount and hiring status reporting, Capex and budget tracking, KOITA and compliance-related submissions, dashboard maintenance, meeting and reporting preparation, training and event coordination, visitor support, and ad hoc operational requests from the Engineering Manager and leadership team.
