Credit Controller- (Fixed Term)

Your role:

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for supporting credit control and accounts receivable activities, ensuring timely collections, accurate financial records, and compliance with company policies. This position is a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave replacement role and involves close collaboration with customers, sales teams, finance functions, and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring customer accounts and performing aging analysis
  • Following up overdue receivables and managing collection activities
  • Processing bank transfers and payment allocations
  • Performing account reconciliations and clearing entries
  • Supporting month-end activities, including provision calculations
  • Managing customer master data and documentation controls
  • Reviewing credit limits and supporting credit release processes
  • Coordinating legal collection follow-up and guarantee tracking
  • Supporting trade compliance documentation and reporting activities
  • Assisting with audit requests and document archiving
  • Supporting selected purchasing and administrative processes as required

To succeed, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or Finance Operations
  • Knowledge of collection processes, customer account management and credit control practices
  • Experience working with SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Good command of written and spoken English
