Mission

To enhance the aftermarket expansion of CT equipment manufactured by the Atlas Copco brand at our Wuxi production facility in China, we are seeking a Business support Design for life for IAT product range. This role will be stationed in Wuxi, China.

As an integral member of the product life cycle team, you will spearhead the integration and the promotion from both marketing and sales perspectives the upgrades solution at the Wuxi Product Company with the collaboration of the local product manager Design for Life.

This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic global marketing team and reporting to the Product Manager DFL IAT and the Marketing Manager Spare Parts.

Main Responsibilities

As a Business Support DFL for IAT, your responsibilities include with collaboration of the Product Manager DFL IAT:

Conducting a thorough analysis to assess the potential of the consumables business derived from CT equipment produced by the Atlas Copco brand at the Wuxi product company. Identify gaps and develop a roadmap to address them effectively.

Promoting E commerce as way to market in the local Market (We Chat or any other platform).

Monitoring the project roadmap of Wuxi product companies to ensure the implementation of appropriate consumables aligns with the aftermarket strategy.

Analysing market requirements to prioritize engineering efforts for consumable developments, with a focus on delivering customer value.

Keeping abreast of new filtration technologies and providing follow-up on their potential application.

Supporting the expansion of the CTS consumables portfolio to cover all compressor ranges.

Collaborating with engineering and technical support in project teams to ensure that compressor design aligns with marketing requirements, including aspects such as serviceability, sensor integration, and total cost of ownership.

support parts business development or expanding according to the initiatives( e.g recently maybe <30kW initiatives).

Provide Business Support to the CC’s in the region.

Developing consolidated business cases and presenting them to management to advocate for the implementation of proposed CTS consumables, sensors, and connectivity solutions in new equipment.

Leading product development projects throughout the lifecycle, from feasibility assessment to customer satisfaction.

Managing marketing intelligence activities in the region, including competitor testing.

Providing active support to the pricing coordinator to ensure adherence to CTS pricing standards and comprehensive price management for effective value positioning.

Experience requirements. 

  • Sales management and/or Marketing experience in either Service or prime equipment
  • Experience of working in a multicultural environment is considered a plus.
  • Experience in managing a project team is considered a plus.

Educational requirements

  • The successful candidate should preferably have an engineering degree plus several years of relevant sales and marketing experience.
  • Good command of English and chinese is required. Additional languages are an advantage.
  • You have a good understanding and experience with project management.
