Atlas Copco closes acquisition of Houston Service Industries

Stockholm, Sweden, January 4, 2012: Atlas Copco North America LLC has completed the acquisition of Houston Service Industries, Inc., a U.S. manufacturer of low-pressure blowers and vacuum pumps.

Houston Service Industries has annual revenues of about MUSD 37 (MSEK 240) and 123 employees. With its well-known brand HSI, the company has a strong domestic position in equipment for the wastewater treatment and industrial process sectors, offering sales synergies with Atlas Copco’s products in these market segments.
