Atlas Copco appoints Jo Cronstedt Vice President Public Affairs

Stockholm, Sweden, October 26, 2007: Atlas Copco has appointed Jo Cronstedt as Vice President Public Affairs for the Group, with a focus on sustainability development. 

“Jo Cronstedt has a broad international experience and is familiar with the challenges Atlas Copco is facing in its operations,”says Annika Berglund, Senior Vice President Corporate Communications. “His positive attitude and enthusiasm for issues related to sustainability and building long-term relationships will be an asset for the Group going forward.”    Jo Cronstedt is currently the corporate business controller for Atlas Copco in India, and will take up his position, based in Stockholm as of February 1, 2008.    A Swedish citizen, Jo Cronstedt began his Atlas Copco career in 1973.  Prior to his current appointment, Jo Cronstedt served Atlas Copco for almost 30 years around the world, in countries including Australia, Morocco, Brazil and France.
