The Role

The Smart Compressors team in Engineering in Industrial Air enables (remote) control & monitoring, gathering insights in the machine and let it communicate with its environment, all to make it a state-of-the art smart compressor. As a member of this team in Engineering in Industrial Air, you will interact globally to maximize the potential of newly developed software modules in machines:

· You start by managing a task or project regarding software used in a smart compressor.

· You collaborate intensely with software development teams and module competence teams, collaborating with the module owner software and other project engineers.

· You consider and enhance software modularity, both hardware as well as software.

· You get up to speed concerning competence and share knowledge within the organization.

· You identify and improve the software ecosystem.

· Possibly, you support local product and service teams in questions about smart algorithms, also working with the service division.

· Once you are up to speed, you evaluate new ideas, concepts and technologies for technical and economic feasibility, together with peers all over the world.

· You contribute to improving the software ecosystem.

· You will be part of the diverse smart compressors team based in Antwerp.

Are we a good fit?

· You have a Master in Computer Science, Engineering sciences, Control Systems or equivalent.

· You know control logics, PID and software, working with algorithms.

· You have an interest in machine electronics and are passionate about technology.

· You find it important to collaborate with a variety of people and you feel good doing teamwork.

· You have basic understanding of data mining.

· You speak fluently English, Dutch is an added value.

· MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and other O365 applications have no secrets for you.

· You want to tackle challenges and bring results.
