To meet the industry’s ever-increasing need for tightening inaccessible joints and sensors, Atlas Copco Industrial Technique has developed a range of high-end front attachments under a new brand name Saltus. Saltus products are designed for a wide multi-brand portfolio of industrial tools used by customers worldwide.

Your role

This key role ensures the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge products. You will collaborate with the mechanical design team, simulation engineers, the quality team, and the production assembly team. Working alongside other test engineers, you will conduct tests, and evaluate the results, on mechanical performance (scatter/accuracy), productivity, structural integrity, and system evaluations among others.

Your responsibilities include:

• Define and implement data collection strategy 
• Create scripts and run analysis of the collected data 
• Perform tests according to specifications 
• Develop test methods and equipment
• Interpret and apply customer and regulatory standards
• Document test results in test reports

You report to Team Manager Saltus Geared Frontend Attachment Engineering.  

City:  Nacka, Stockholm. We have a hybrid workplace. 

You will need
We are looking for a mechanical engineer with several years of experience within testing of mechanical systems and with a focus on data analytics. We believe that you hold at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering and several years of experience with test and verification of physical products, using MATLAB/Python and measurement systems like Dewesoft. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. As a person, you are analytical, have a structured approach and are hands on.
