Your role:

Mission

• To bring efficient master data processes to our internal customers.
• To provide support to the Master data consumers and also to local Master Data teams and stewards. The team works closely together with the act! team to standardize, improve and support the act! solution within the Atlas Copco Group.
• To drive standardization, improvements and automation in the Master data processes.

Responsibilities and objectives  - material master data domain

• To assist the MDM TL and work together with other Business Process Experts in improving the process model for the future  - improving the SAP solution covering the related end-to-end processes in accordance with business requirement, bringing quality and efficiency.
• To be the promoter of the global standard solution and work closely with business key users in realizing the solution to the customer centers and ensuring the organizational transition is carried out successfully.
• To work closely with Automation Team – actively participate on automation projects in the MDM area, come with ideas for further automation possibilities and identifying efficiencies.
• Drive improvements in the SAP standard processes in Master data area.
• Continuously analyze and measure current processes, suggest improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency in accordance with the BA needs.
• Analyze business requirements and create high-level specifications necessary for improvements, including the impact analysis.
• Interact with business units and other Business process experts to gather and document business requirements.
• Participate/suggest the development/implementation of new applications expanding the MDM process coverage by Atlas Copco standard applications.
• Provide context information and expert advice to the Business Process Council(s) and support the decision process in councils for finance, controlling, and changes related to business process alignment and improvement.
• Create, review and update the Standard MDM processes documentation (ensure high quality of the documentation and training materials).
• Participate actively in workshops to improve the MDM end-to-end processes.
• Support and contribute to major organizational transformation projects.
• Self-service tool enrollment.
• Transition and transformation projects.
• Participate in tools/applications development.
• Identify areas for improvement, prepare or review functional specifics and participate in the development (testing) of new functionalities together with IT.
• Suggest/support replacement for current based tools with the goal to bring more efficient process and better end user experience.
• Look for options to automate the processes.

To succeed, you will need:

• Extensive knowledge and hand-on experience with Master data management.
• Experience with process in business unit is a big plus.
• Broad knowledge of other processes in accounting area would be a plus.
• Experience with project management or process improvement initiatives would be a plus.
• Experience in preparation for internal and external audit would be a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively communicate to different audience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving background.
• Active knowledge of SAP and related master data module (material is strong advantage).
• Fluent in English, more languages is a plus.
