CEO Visit to UAE

Atlas Copco Group’s President and CEO, Vagner Rego, visited the United Arab Emirates this February, highlighting the Group’s strong commitment to the Middle East as a hub for innovation, sustainability, and industrial partnerships.

Over the course of two days, Mr. Rego engaged with employees, leadership teams, and business partners across Dubai, reaffirming Atlas Copco’s long-term vision for growth in the region.

A Day with LEWA Middle East

The visit began on February 5th with a warm welcome at LEWA Middle East, where Mr. Rego participated in a safety briefing, management presentations, and a factory tour led by General Manager Shadab Sayed and his team. During the session, he met with key leaders to discuss sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence, followed by a working lunch with the LEWA team to exchange perspectives on future opportunities.

Engaging with Dubai Operations

Later that afternoon, Mr. Rego joined employees at the Atlas Copco Group Dubai Office, where he:

  • Met with all employees, sharing his vision and answering questions.
  • Held a dedicated dialogue with Female leaders and the Gen Z employees, underlining the Group’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Attended business updates presented by General Managers across the region, covering achievements and strategic direction. 
     

The day concluded with a leadership dinner at Atlantis The Palm, where regional GMs and senior executives connected on shared ambitions and priorities for the Middle East.


Day 2: Strengthening Partnerships and Recognizing Leadership

The second day of Vagner Rego’s visit to the UAE began with a focus on Primax Pumps FZCO (Sykes), where the CEO engaged with leadership and employees across multiple sessions.

  • The day opened with a Safety Introduction, setting the tone for the visit and underlining Atlas Copco Group’s unwavering commitment to safety.
  • This was followed by an Introduction to the Sykes Management Team, where Mr. Rego, together with senior leaders discussed operational performance and strategic goals.
  • A factory tour allowed the CEO to gain deeper insight into the company’s advanced manufacturing processes. 
  • The morning concluded with a Townhall, where Mr. Rego engaged directly with all staff, recognizing their efforts and sharing the Group’s global vision.

Afternoon Engagements at the Dubai Office

The afternoon program was designed to foster stronger collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Group’s leadership:

  • Mr. Rego joined a Working Lunch with Business Line Managers, where open discussions on business opportunities and synergies took place.
  • Later, a session with the General reflected on key achievements, operational strategies, and long-term priorities for the Middle East region.
     

The day concluded with an intimate dinner with General Managers at Al Nafoorah, Al Qasr – Madinat Jumeirah, providing a platform for candid discussions on leadership, strategy, and the Group’s continued growth in the Middle East.
