- Current Position: Holding Human Resources Manager
- Specialist Subject: Human-Centric Leadership
I am a husband to an amazing and beautiful wife, and a father to three equally amazing and beautiful daughters, 16, 14 and 12 years old.
I was born in the UK and then I was just two years old when my parents and I moved to Algeria for two years then back to the UK. At 5, I moved to the UAE and lived in Abu Dhabi for the next five years and then onto Bahrain for one year before returning to the UK to attend a military boarding school. And now I have come almost full circle as I have been living in Dubai, back in the UAE for the past ten years.
My passion is both in Compensation & Benefits and helping our Group build strong, people-focused cultures, where I can tap into my love of Psychology.
What was the key factor that led to you devoting the lion share of your career to Atlas Copco Group?
First and foremost, it is the Culture. We have a fantastic culture that enables and empowers inclusion, learning and growth. The opportunity for international experience should not be underestimated, not only does this open you up to new work experiences, but life experiences too. It is also the people you meet and the influences they have along your journey. The majority of the people you meet all have long years of service within the Group, and that in itself says a lot about the organization. I am so grateful for the challenges, experiences, the learning and the friends I have made along the way.
I have three loves in my life, my wife, my daughters and Atlas Copco Group.
Share your highlight moment at Atlas Copco Group
There were too many to mention a particular moment. From coming forward with ideas early in my career that are still being applied today, the chances of moving and working abroad, the established network of relationships I developed, and their trust placed in me. When I eventually come to retire, I will feel that I have made a difference and, in some respects, will leave behind a legacy.
What advice would you give to someone just starting with us?
Be curious, do not be afraid to ask questions, try new approaches, or to bring forward any ideas you may have. There is always a better way!
