
Your role
- Take the main responsibility for the development projects including all phases. Be involved in defining project scope and content. Establishing and fulfilling a project time plan and a project budget.
- Take the main responsibility for the product standardization, continuously improve the engineering design efficiency by developing digitalized tools, as well as the digitalized processes, etc.
- Lead the work and support team member to do a good job in their daily job, continuously monitor the project status, time plan and budget, reporting to local PCM/global PCM etc.
- Cooperate with cross functional departments to drive the projects moving forward.
- Be a facilitator between Engineering and New Unit Sales/Marketing for new turbomachinery applications.
- Stay up to date with new technology in the field of turbomachinery by conducting the market research, customer visits, study the applications, analyze the strength & weakness of competitors products, etc.
To succeed, you will need
- Very good engineering experience in turbomachinery company.
- Solid experience in project management of projects with lead time up to 2 years and with similar complexity as our products, preferably in an international environment.
- Very good knowledge of English is required, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven record in managerial leadership of highly educated specialists of different disciplines with and without administrative report to you.
- International collaboration experience is a plus.
- Documented academic background in engineering within relevant area or other highly qualified engineering background.
- Several years of proven experience in engineering and/or project management is a plus.
- T be clear and firm with good communications skills and a strong personal driving force.
- Self-starter: positive make-happen attitude; capable of handling multiple tasks; team player.
- Willingness to travel domestic and international.
- Ideally you should be able to work in and with GAP R&D teams efficiently with a strong local focus but respecting the GAP divisions’ global footprint to contribute to the entire global product portfolio development.
