As a  Sr Product Security Engineer you will ensure that all embedded, connected, and radio‑enabled products comply with IEC62443 industrial cybersecurity requirements and or  the EN18031 security requirements for radio equipment devices under the EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED).

This role establishes secure-by-design practices across firmware, hardware, wireless interfaces, cloud integrations, and product lifecycle processes. You will work in cross-functional and agile teams together with other development disciplines and be involved in all steps of the process - from first idea to product.

You will be part of research and technology innovation initiatives within the line organization, ensuring that Atlas Copco can continue to be market leader. The solutions we develop are used to improve efficiency, quality, safety, speed, ergonomics and environmental performance.

To succeed, you will need

  • 8 to 10+ years of relevant Industry experience.
  • In depth exposure to EU-CRA, IEC 62443 & / or EN18031.
  • Exposure to threat modelling and penetration testing is desired.
  • IEC 62443 / CISSP certification is desired.
  • Knowledge & prior work experience of OT protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, Profinet) and systems (PLC, DCS, RTU, SCADA).
  • Exposure to penetration testing, OPENVAS, Metasploit
  • Leadership skills for building the team.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our (Atlas Copco GECIA) in Pune, India.
