
Your role
1. Process Engineering & Optimization
- Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes for improved efficiency and quality
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), and process documentation
- Conduct process capability analysis (Cp, Cpk) and root cause analysis using tools such as FTA, 5 Whys, and Fishbone
2. Equipment & Automation Improvement
- Lead introduction, validation, and qualification of new equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Implement automation, poka-yoke systems, and productivity‑enhancing technologies
3. Quality & Compliance
- Support investigation and resolution of process-related quality issues
- Ensure compliance with internal and external SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) standards
- Participate in internal and external audits; provide required documentation and corrective actions
4. Productivity & Cost Improvement
- Execute productivity improvement projects (cycle time reduction, yield enhancement, layout optimization)
- Lead cost‑reduction initiatives through process redesign, automation, and waste elimination
- Monitor and analyze key production KPIs (OEE, downtime, scrap rate, etc.)
5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, R&D, and Maintenance teams to resolve operational issues
- Support new product introduction (Prototype → Pilot → Mass Production)
- Provide technical support to suppliers and evaluate outsourced manufacturing processes
Your skills and experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or production engineering
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies
- Experience with CAD tools and manufacturing systems (MES, ERP)
- Analytical problem‑solving skills (DMAIC, 5 Why, SPC, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aluminum machining, CNC machining, or mechanical component manufacturing
- Experience in compressors or vacuum pump component production
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
- Understanding of PLCs, automation systems, or industrial controls
- SAP/SuccessFactors experience preferred
