Bring your curiosity to work as our next Logistics Specialist, Local-WLOL. You will join the Atlas Copco Algeria team, reporting to the Logistics Manager. Your mission will be to ensure smooth logistics operations within the Customer Center, managing orders, flows, and product availability in line with Atlas Copco standards and local regulations.

Short Description

As a Logistics Specialist at Atlas Copco Algeria, you will be integral to the smooth and efficient operation of our Customer Center's logistics activities. Your primary focus will be on managing the end-to-end order process within our SAP system, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and coordination between diverse internal teams and external partners. You will take charge of organizing shipments, managing stock levels, and overseeing compliance with all relevant local and international regulations.

Collaborating closely with sales, finance, warehouse, and service teams, you will serve as a critical liaison to maintain efficient communication flows and resolve any logistics issues we encounter. Your role is essential in sustaining the reliability and excellence of our supply chain, contributing directly to delivering superior customer service and supporting overall business performance.

Moreover, you will be responsible for customs documentation and clearance processes, monitoring goods in transit, and ensuring that all logistics records are maintained with precision to meet regulatory standards and internal policies.

Your day-to-day

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate daily with sales, finance, warehouse, and service departments to align logistics activities with business needs.
  • Supplier & Partner Management: Liaise effectively with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, carriers, and customs officials to ensure timely shipment and compliance.
  • Order and Inventory Oversight: Track the full order lifecycle from entry to invoicing while monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or surpluses.
  • Documentation Assurance: Prepare and verify all necessary logistics and customs documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to both local and international regulations.
  • Proactive Problem Resolution: Address any delivery delays, stock inconsistencies, or customs issues swiftly to maintain service quality.

Your skills and experience

Candidate Profile and Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Completion of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field, providing a solid foundation to manage complex logistics operations.

Experience:

  • Two to three years of professional experience in logistics roles, ideally within industrial sectors or customer service centers, demonstrating your capability in fast-paced and detail-oriented environments.

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in French, enabling smooth communication with local and regional stakeholders.
  • Professional proficiency in English, essential for handling documentation and collaborating with international partners.

Technical Competencies:

  • Advanced expertise with SAP logistics modules, specifically order processing and stock management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of import/export operations and Algerian customs procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in monitoring goods in transit and managing international logistics flows effectively.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for analysis, reporting, and precise data management.
