
Your role
As an IoT Data Scientist, you drive data-driven insights for our GENIUS Instant Insights™ platform. You develop predictive models to improve vacuum pump reliability, performance, and energy efficiency, working closely with global experts across engineering and product teams.Responsibilities
- Build and deploy ML models (e.g. failure prediction, anomaly detection).
- Analyze real-world IoT data and extract reliable signals.
- Own end-to-end data science workflows from ideation to production.
- Collaborate with domain experts and Data Engineering teams.
- Improve models through continuous feedback and monitoring.
- Apply modern AI approaches (e.g. GenAI) to enhance insights.
- Communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
To succeed, you will need
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or similar.
- 3–5 years of experience with applied data science (ideally IoT/industrial).
- Strong skills in Python, SQL, and ML methods (e.g. time series, anomaly detection).
- Experience with Azure and Databricks is a plus.
- Interest in GenAI and new AI technologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in international teams.

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our office. The position is open in Brno (Czech Republic), Cologne (Germany) and Pune (India).
