Your role

We are looking for a Divisional IT Application Manager to lead and manage all non-ERP IT applications across our global structure of Customer Centers and Product Companies. This role covers approximately 35 locations worldwide (and growing), including Germany, China, India, Belgium, Italy, Dubai, Spain, France, Singapore, Korea, Canada, Australia, and the UK.

You will be responsible for

  • Global Application Ownership: Manage divisional non-ERP IT applications such as Pro.File PDM, CPQ, Dynamics CRM, Data Warehouse, and Interface Factory across all sites.
  • Support Organization Setup: Establish a global SLA-based support structure to ensure required coverage across time zones.
  • Cost Optimization: Drive initiatives to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for IT application operations.
  • Roadmap Development & Execution: Collaborate with the digitalization team to define and implement an application roadmap, including design, project delivery, and operational run.
  • Governance & Compliance: Build and maintain a governance model to ensure:
    • Version and patch management for all systems
    • Functional, technical, and business case evaluation of requested changes
    • Seamless implementation of updates without business disruption
    • Effective partner management at operational, tactical, and strategic levels
  • Team Leadership: Manage an internal team to deliver projects and support efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

    • Experience: Minimum 5 years in IT application management
    • Education: Master’s degree or equivalent by experience
    • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft application stack is a plus
    • Language: Fluent in English
    • Travel: Limited international travel required

Hybrid
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at LEWA GmbH in Leonberg, Germany (DE).

Local Plus conditions will be offered for this position if the successful applicant is not based in Germany.
