[Purpose of this Job]
Business Line Manager of IAS is responsible for developing and growing the business, focusing on IAS solutions such as Sealing & Dispensing Automation Systems, Hybrid Joining Solutions, Inspection Vision, and Joint Analysis, within the Korean and Global Korean OEM and Tier markets.
[Market Analysis & Strategic Planning]
Analyze market trends, indicators, and competition, and translate SWOT & market mapping results into necessary strategies.
Develop and implement business plans and sales & marketing strategies that are consistent with the organization’s overall mission and vision, in the short-term and long-term.
Develop and reinforce the market position of the IAS Business Line, covering its core solutions (Sealing & Dispensing, Hybrid Joining, Inspection Vision, etc.).
Focus on digital transformation and advanced automation solutions to drive growth.
[Sales & Financial Performance Management]
Develop Annual & Quarterly Sales Plans as a short term based on income status & Market contribution, and a long-term growth plan (3 years base).
Be accountable for Profit & Loss (P&L) for the IAS Business Line, ensuring financial health and growth.
Drive profitability improvements through efficient resource allocation and cost management.
Establish targets in the organization, such as: product mix, sales volume, and market share, and monitor the performance of the organization against these goals.
[Operational Management & Team Leadership]
Supervise & guide day-to-day sales activities with Sales, Project, and Service employees in line with the company requirements.
Ensure that the organization is fit for purpose (size, structure, and skill-wise) and conduct continuous analysis and improvement of competence levels within the IAS organization.
Co-ordination of customer references and Best Practices.
Co-ordinate Cross Border business with/for Global Key Accounts.
Communicate and co-operate with other departments, other Customer Centers, and especially the IAS Global Headquarters.
Lead, direct, and control all sales and Service functions so that policies, procedures, and activities meet the organization’s short and long-term business objectives.
[Compliance & Talent Development]
Comply with regulations and standards, and protect the organization’s public reputation.
Build a talent pipeline for future leadership positions through focused development programs.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leading to the development of high-performing teams.
[Experience & Knowledge]
- Proven track record in sales, marketing and managerial experience at from a sales company environment within manufacturing Industry.
- 8 to 10 years’ experience of running a business unit with full P&L responsibility
- Experience in successfully leading a sales/service team.
- Proven track record in identifying and setting up the required sales channels within the Tier 1 segment supplying to the car manufacturing industry.
- Ability to achieve results from action plans deriving from solid strategic thinking.
- Finance knowledge on income statement.
- Able to write and communicate in writing and especially verbally in English.
- Expertise and knowledge in automation and joining technologies (ideally in Sealing & Dispensing, Hybrid Joining, Inspection Vision, Joint Analysis, and relevant applications) within the automotive industry (ideally bodyshop and its Tiers).
- Expertise and knowledge in automated machinery (Robot) solutions to link to a customer’s requirement.

- Proven business skills in successfully leading the organization.
- Ability to proactively motivate, lead, and work with the team of people (international leadership is a plus).
- Strong attitude for getting things done with a minimum of supervision.
