Your role
As a Senior | Accountant (AtR), your mission is to help build a Service Center of Excellence in AtR area and provide support to the business areas.
You will:
- Lead accounting and reporting processes and be responsible for the preparation of all IFRS based Group reports and other finance documents
- Be responsible for a company or a number of companies within country/countries
- Be in charge of accounting operations and tasks i.e. journal entry
- Support Business Areas and Finance team providing professional advices regarding accounting and reporting
- Ensure compliance to IFRS and Group standards, Business Code of Practice
- Assess risk management
- Establish proper level of controls over accounting, taxation and reporting processes, actively participate in policies and procedures implementation
- Actively participate in process and systems improvements and development
- Strive for continuous improvement of efficiency of processes in responsible areas
- Work with internal and external auditors
- Work with Holdings and local teams in the various countries
- Assist local entities and Holdings in establishing local statutory reporting
- Control period end closing and reconscile balance sheet accounts
- Actively participate and sometimes lead the internal accounting and reporting projects, including international ones
- Support Chief Accountant with miscellaneous operations and tasks
To succeed, you will need

- Ideally, you should have min. 5 years in accounting and finance in international companies with advanced knowledge of IFRS
- University or secondary education in economics, accounting and finance
- English at such level to be able to communicate with your colleagues from abroad
- Experienced with a large amount of data in Excel and SAP
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Achievement orientation and ability to work under strict deadlines
- Work permit in Czech Republic/EU is a must

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Hub in Prague, Czech Republic (CZ).
