Your Role
We are seeking an ambitious, dynamic, and motivated Sales Engineer to drive sales in the Indonesian market. The role reports to the Business Manager ACTA GI Indonesia.
Job Purpose
Growing sales of industrial tools by delivering technical solutions, building strong customer relationships, and securing new business through field visits, product demonstrations, and stakeholder engagement. Key industries include mining, oil & gas, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and achieving sales targets.
- Analyze customer processes to identify bottlenecks and present tailored solutions highlighting the value of our tools.
- Conduct field sales activities, including customer visits, site assessments, product demonstrations, and presentations.
- Lead the sales process by engaging key stakeholders and confidently guiding them toward optimal solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies, especially in mining and energy.
- Provide insights on market competition and propose strategic actions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales within the mining, oil & gas, or manufacturing sectors, with an established customer base.
- Demonstrated success managing sales territory and meeting targets.
- Solid understanding of competitors and market dynamics.
- Hands-on experience in field sales and conducting effective product demonstrations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to make ROI and payback calculations and justifications for the customers
To succeed, you will need
Knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM system).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related industry.
