Your role
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific opportunities.
- Actively manage your territory using prospecting tools to source and approach new customers.
- Follow up on leads and referrals generated through field activity.
- Build rapport and maintain regular contact with both new and existing customers.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and introduce new products and service upgrades.
- Understand customer needs and coordinate with internal teams to ensure excellent service.
- Engage in planned prospecting activities and deliver compelling sales presentations.
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, pricing, credit terms, and service contract modifications.
- Maintain a professional image through personal actions and initiatives.
- Promote the company’s core values—commitment, interaction, and innovation—to enhance brand reputation.
- Continuously update product knowledge and sales strategies through training and educational opportunities.
- Prepare reports on activities, lost orders, closings, follow-ups, and performance vs. budget.
- Promote focus products such as Measurement Box, VSD, Full Feature, and Oil-Free concepts.
- Collaborate with the Business Line Manager to define transfer pricing and create market-aligned price lists.
- Work closely with the aftermarket team to ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent after-sales service.
- Meet sales targets set by divisional managers and provide timely, accurate sales and market data.
- Use C4C to manage customer information and track the sales pipeline.
- Conduct SWOT analysis for your territory, gather competitive intelligence, assess market volume, and collect customer feedback.
- Report sales activities and market insights to the Business Line Manager as required.
- Conduct pre-commissioning visits and ensure compliance with company credit policies regarding account receivables.
- Continuously improve your competencies, personality, and professional behavior.
To succeed, you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering.
- Compressed air systems & solutions knowledge.
- C4C, Office 2016 literacy
- Working in an industrial environment, ideally with engineering background
- Excellent verbal and written English
- 1 – 2 years working experience as sales.
