Sales Engineer - PPF

As a Sales Engineer for Atlas Copco, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality solutions in the Power Technique business area, supporting our commitment to innovation and sustainability. Located in the vibrant areas of Changsha or Wuhan, this position is perfect for a skilled professional eager to contribute to our dynamic team while driving sales performance and expanding our market presence in the region.

Your Role

  • Responsible for the sales of PPF products including generators, light towers, dewatering pumps, and energy storage systems through individual efforts and dealer networks to achieve sales targets in the Middle China territory.
  • Develop and implement regional sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets, ensuring alignment with overall company strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, effective networking, and strategic partnerships, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing, exhibiting strong communication and interpersonal skills throughout the process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention, which are vital for long-term success.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to understand client needs deeply and align solutions that meets their requirements effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide actionable insights to internal teams such as Marketing and Product to enhance regional relevance and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and support, demonstrating strong teamwork and collaborative spirit.
  • Track and report on essential sales metrics including pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue using CRM tools, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

To Succeed, You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a regional or territory management role, demonstrating your capacity to drive results.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and goals, reflecting your motivation and dedication in a sales-driven environment.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills that effectively position our products to meet client needs.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced environments, showing enthusiasm for tackling challenges.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet client expectations and explore new opportunities.
