Atlas Copco has acquired a German distributor of compressed air technology

Stockholm, Sweden, April 3, 2019: Atlas Copco has acquired Jacob Drucklufttechnik Vertriebs GmbH.  The company has a strong local market presence in Saarland in the west of Germany.

Jacob Drucklufttechnik Vertriebs has around 10 employees. "Saarland has a high potential with many small and medium-sized companies", said Vagner Rego, Business Area President Compressor Technique. "A foothold in the middle of this region, will enable further growth". The purchase price is not material relative to Atlas Copco’s market capitalization and is not disclosed. The acquired business will operationally become part of the Compressor Technique service division.
