I studied for a Master's degree in engineering at KTH with a focus on mechanical engineering and it was there I became interested in manufacturing companies. It is exciting to be able to follow all the steps from product development to manufacturing and distribution, but of course also marketing and contact with the customer. For several years, I focused on supply chain and strategic purchasing, and I continued to do so at Atlas Copco when I started here in 2016. A couple of years ago, I had the opportunity to jump into something new, RPA and automation. How can we optimize flows and processes and free up time from administrative tasks so that our employees can focus on more complex value-creating tasks? I learn new things every day and have the opportunity to make a difference for both employees and the company, which is incredibly motivating.
I prefer to spend my free time with family and friends. I love exercising in nature and the family's new dog seems to share my interest.
I think we will never stop evolving as human beings. We also gain a lot of insight about ourselves and what we want/where we want to be when meeting with other people. During the school period, a mentorship can certainly inspire and open up choices and thoughts about what you want in your working life. I hope that my experience from different roles and contexts during my career can raise conversations and thoughts about this and contribute with contacts within Atlas Copco that can be valuable in the future. I am also curious as a person and think that meeting with new people is always interesting.
