Mission/Purpose of the Job:
Acting as a single point of contact for customers both pre- and post-sale activities and taking ownership of the open territory and lapsed service customers to drive sales, that’s where you come in – we believe our people make it happen. Main Responsibilities:
Act as a single point of contact for customers providing pre- and post-sale activities for sales under a prescribed dollar amount and complexity
Collaborate and communicate with outside sales personal to ensure full coverage of customer needs
Proactively follow up on warm marketing leads and requested quotes for Service Business Line
Provide general information on all Service Products
Takes ownership of open territory and lapsed service customers to drive sales
Works with applications and tech support team to offer product alternatives to best meet customer requirements and support sales objectives.
Recognize that a customer of one product could also purchase other Leybold products and set up leads for new equipment, field service and service contract opportunities
Demonstrate proactive selling of Leybold service products. Identifies opportunities for expanding the sale through additional options and complimentary products
Maintains customer databases
Document customer activity using our CRM

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear. The employee is required to use hands and fingers to type or dial and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. This position requires frequent computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
This position will have remote flexibility after training (60% in office/40% remote). This position will require 5-10% travel.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Education level
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
Relevant Previous experience
Entry Level, 1-3 years of technical experience preferred
Vacuum equipment or selling of technical product experience a plus
Knowledge areas/Skills
Excellent oral & written communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Office Products
Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative spirit
Strong critical thinking skills
Attention to details and problem-solving abilities
Phenomenal teammate who is flexible and adaptable
A self-starter with strong work ethic
Other requirements
Multilingual skills, especially in Spanish, are a plus
Valid driver’s license
