We are looking for a Test and Test Automation Developer!
Your role
In this role, you design, implement and run tests for new features developed in the team, as well as run regression tests before each release of the data communication platform. This platform is a high performing, reliable product that plays a central role in the system connected software supporting industrial manufacturing worldwide.
Quality is essential in everything we do. We work in cross-functional and agile teams together with other development disciplines, and you are involved in all steps of the process - from first idea to product. You also take active part in research and technology innovation initiatives within the line organization to ensure a sustainable future for the platform and the system it operates in.
Tasks include:
· Define and maintain testcases in our test automation system based on Pytest
· Further develop and maintain our load test environment where we simulate a factory-like environment based on simulators and real products
· Develop and improve the test environments based on Windows and Kubernetes clusters in Azure and on prem
You report to Team Manager Data Collection Core, Åsa Hallström.
You will need
· Academic degree within software or IT engineering
· Experience in developing functional and integration tests in Python
· Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines
· Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environment
· Familiarity with monitoring and visualization tools (Grafana, Prometheus etc)
· Fluency in English
You are a team player who likes to keep up with the latest software technology and methods.
