Walker Filtration began manufacturing the medical gas pipeline products in 2020, such as medical purifiers, vacuum systems, manifold, and gas terminal units. This role will provide the aftermarket support for the medical products produced by Walker Filtration, including technical supports, technical trainings, spare part releasing, warranty claim evaluation etc.
Scope: Working as part of the Engineering team, you will be tasked with providing the technical supports to the customers, reviewing the warranty claims, leading the releasing of spare parts in the distribution center and coordinating the corrective actions for the field complaints. Additionally, you will play a critical role as service function to do the service review for the new product development. The position reports to the Engineering Manager of Quality and Regulatory Affairs UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide the technical support for the requests from customers or service engineers.
- Review and approve the warranty claims from the field in WANT system.
- Continuously improve the product quality by a proactive follow up of failures and complaints in the field. This includes analysing warranty reports, failure reporting, and playing a key role in the cross-functional quality meetings, such as TCM and PQM.
- Provide and develop technical training in conjunction with the product development team, for the introduction of new products with the focus on the service and troubleshooting.
- Play an active role in product development to assure the highest level of serviceability and lowest lifecycle cost by giving a strong involvement in the project team meetings.
- Provide accurate and up to date service information related to the product range; take initiative to provide troubleshooting guidelines, manuals, video instructions, training aids etc.
- Lead the spare part releasing in BeaconMedaes UK and Atlas Copco Sparepart Center (ASC) in Belgium. Release the master data for spare parts in ASDA database.
- Improving processes & documentation in order to reduce support burden.
- Work with Design engineers to prevent repeat failures occurring and identify emerging trends.
- Carry out periodic review to ensure that all documentation is up to date and fit for purpose, such as the user manual and spare part book.
