Your role
The individual’s responsibilities will include, though not be limited to, all of the following:
1) Develop SB service deliverables (New products, NPI)
-? Be responsible for field related service readiness of new products in accordance with Edwards‘ PCP - Prepare service deliverables for new products according to project schedule in a timely and cost effective manner
-? Review service tools required for handling new products efficiently
2)?Develop field service standard operating procedures (New products, NPI)
-?Develop FSSOP and associated field service documentation for new products
- Provide professional field service engineer (FSE) training
3) Develop part manuals (New product, NPI)
- Develop part manuals and associated field service documentation for new products
- Lead new spare part set up process and cooperate with related teams
4) Design for serviceability (DfS)
- Liaise with engineers and staff from other disciplines to help the team deliver complete integrated solutions
- Ensure that the product serviceability is achieved in such a way that it can be tested reliably both at a component and system level
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of: design for service (DfS)
- Increase awareness of service requirements and techniques to achieve effective field service engineering
To be succeed, you will need
1) Education Level:
- Bachelor degree or Master degree in chemistry, environment engineering (analysis) or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- IMechE or IEEE, Chartered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer preferred 2) Relevant Previous Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as an engineer with background of field service engineering (e.g., risk assessment, FSSOP, part manuals and spare parts and service tools)
- Some experience working in a global engineering environment and working with international teams to deliver Product development and Product solutions
3) Knowledge areas/Skills (minimum level of knowledge to fulfil the role’s responsibilities)
- Required skills - 3DX (CAD, BOM) & 2D drawings (Interpretation)
- Good understanding of developing semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Good understanding of the product development processes.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to more junior members of the development team in specific technology areas.
4) Other Soft Skills and Knowledge:
- Must be a good communicator and have excellent fluency in spoken and written English
