Sales Engineer - Kingsdown Compressed Air Systems
Our global market-leading company is on the lookout for a talented salesperson to join our team. Your role? Promote our top-notch equipment service to both new and existing customers. The best part? This is a fully remote position with direct reporting to the National Sales Manager.
The role:
- Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contract towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales – especially managing personal time and productivity
- Undertake proposals, including the calculation of sales prices to achieve sales
- Produce proposals for the renewal, extension or alternation of existing contracts
- Support sales through undertaking site surveys and providing technical advice to both existing and potential customers
- Develop good customer relationships at all levels within the area and ensure an excellent standard of after sales service is provided
- Support sales through the provision of sales data, including the recording of visit and action reports (including lost order reports) and analysis of sales performance again budgets
- Develop and deliver presentations to enhance company image and increase sales
- Partner with colleagues and other parts of the group to co-ordinate activities to ensure that sales are obtained
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
- Attend sales meetings and ensure that all subsequent action required is undertaken
To succeed, you will need:
- Sales experience
- A technical background or qualification – although this is not essential. If you have a good sales background, positive attitude and willingness to learn, we can teach you the rest!
- Experience or knowledge of the compressed air industry
- A full UK driving licence - this is a field-based role and you will travel daily across your region
- Excellent IT skills, and ability to learn new systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
