We are currently seeking a Safety & Quality Coordinator to join our team to support our location across the USA.

Job Summary:

Your mission as a Safety Coordinator is to work alongside the Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) manager to plan and implement UTH policies and programs.

This position reports to SHEQ Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· You will advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics to include new hire training with onboarding NFPA 70E, LOTO, Safe Driving and forklift certification.

· You will help prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis.

· You will help conduct risk assessments.

· You will identify SHEQ process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions.

· You will check if all employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations to include updating Veriforce, ISNETworld, and AVETTA

· You will help prepare and present reports on accidents and violations.

· You will assist in incident investigations.

· You will help record KPI's to include man-hours, miles driven, TRIR, and DART scores.

· You will review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.

· You will assist with FMCSA/DOT compliance and suggest recommendations as necessary.

· You will assist with MSHA compliance and suggest recommendations as necessary.

· You will assist with MSA process.

· You will assist with Insurance process.

· You will perform routine tasks required to administer and execute safety programs including but not limited to productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

· You will drive and promote company vision and core values.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· You have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

· You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

· You are proficient in or the ability to quickly learn ISNET, Veriforce, and Aveta.

· You can sit at a desk for prolonged periods time working on a computer.

· You can lift up to 15 pounds at times.

· You can travel throughout North America

Education and Experience:

· You have High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

· You have at least one year of HSE experience (preferred).

Physical Demands:

· Required to be able to move about the facility (standing, walking) and customer sites, varying by location.

Personal Protective Equipment:

· Must comply with all Company PPE policies as directed.

· While at customer locations, must comply with Company PPE policies as a minimum, and customer PPE policies as directed.

Work Environment:

· Mainly an office environment, with exposure warehouse and to customers’ varying industrial environments.

MAY BE REQUIRED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS REQUESTED, DIRECTED, OR ASSIGNED.
