Mission
Your mission is to ensure the quality level and customer satisfaction of CPD Shanghai Hub’s products economically and effectively by defining Quality Control (QC) strategy and end-to-end QC procedures, controlling production process, enhancing quality awareness and competence, implementing proper tests and design optimization. Promote QC philosophy, Quality improvement activities to supplier and production team to continuously reduce quality cost, optimize process and improve efficiency.
Major Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Quality System:
- Manage ACMS system for Rapid screw feeder activities: implementation and documentation update,
- Deploy SHEQ Policy,
- Manage Regulatory Watch on regulations (quality)
- Manage ISO internal and external audits (need to be fully aware on ISO9001 regulation. ISO/14001 and 45001 are a must)
- Establish Quality Monthly Report for Shanghai Hub and CPD Division
Product Quality:
- Implement quality processus to secure quality products (instructions, control plan, …)
- Manage customers claims on 8D format (in close collaboration with R&D)
- Contribute on quality product commitment
- Identify non quality issues (design, process, suppliers, …)
- Define root cause and manage actions plan
- Quality communication
- Evaluate production process robustness (process audits)
- Manage products risk analysis (PFMEA)
- Manage product certification (audit ETL, CCC…) in link with CPD R&D Compliance Officer
Supplier Quality Assurance:
- Manage supplier issues and validate 8D report
- Realize processus audits at supplier plants
- Work with procurement and production to push for higher process capability and better QC permanence from suppliers.
Safety and Environment Risk Management:
- Deploy and control implementation of CPD China SHEQ policy

Education & Experience
- Bachelor or above in mechanical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, instrument & metrology, automation or similar
- 5-10 years’ working experience in quality related positions in massive or small volume production industry of mechanical products or electric/electronics products.
- Experience in automotive supply chain related
Knowledge & Skills
- Mechanical, electronic and electrical knowledge.
- Familiar with common quality inspection techniques and instruments
- Master methodologies of quality control and quality improvement
- Knowledge of quality tools such as PFMEA, 8D Report, action plan, QRQC, SPC, process audits
- Good PC and MS office skills
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Good in both oral and written English & Chinese (Mandarin)
