Your responsibilities within Atlas Copco:
As Service Technician (m/f/d) you are responsible for carrying out servicing and maintenance on customer's machines. Therefore, you effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment and maintain and test Instruments, to ensure they remain in good condition. To do so, you apply good standards of engineering practice at all times. As first contact of our customers you not only order spare parts for service orders to maximize the commission of new equipment but also train our customers as well as Atlas Copco personnel as required, in the general operations of their machines.
To do your job as required you plan and organize your daily and weekly visit schedules and attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills. You will beware of, and apply, Health and Safety regulations in the Service Centre and on site and promote the Atlas Copco Compressor company image.
Your Profile:
- Deep knowledge in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with a minimum of 3 years work experience
- Experience of working with Compressors as well as previous Service Engineer Experience
- Self-driven and a clear focus on high quality. Competent, reliable and determined.
- Empathetic communicator, ability to get on with others and be a team player.
- Driving licence category B
- Have an understanding and an ability to use technical/professional knowledge and information.
- Ability to promote, develop and maintain a culture conducive to quality throughout the organisation and to improve its performance
