The Role

1. Lead test capability and capacity set up with PC QD for new productes and transferred products.
2. Sustain test process capability and capacity on existing test lines
3. Lead continuous improvement on test process to improve product quality, safety and reduce cost

What we expect of you? 

Main Responsibilities:

1. Introduce and set up new test stations for electromechanical product’s production test independently
2. Provides engineering support for product testing and performs on-going maintenance and development of production test stations
3. Training production cell operators in the correct use of test stations
4. Providing front-line diagnosis and fault-finding
5. Performing on-going maintenance and repair of test station hardware
6. Ensuring the smooth introduction of changes to software and configuration / parameter data files
7. Modifying test station hardware and software to cater for new production test requirements or obsolescence
8. Diagnoses of failures and immediate fix the failures
9. Responsible for changing the final-test test-sets and/or test software according to new operational and NPI needs – for production test only
10. Ensuring test stations are well maintained for production

Education level:

   Bachelor or above, major in mechanical and automation, electrical, electronic or related

Relevant previous experience:

1. 5 years working in an engineering industry providing technical support or in a service role. Experience of testing of mechanical-electrical product
2. Electrical system interconnection diagrams.
3. Programming experience with languages: Visual Basic 6, SIMATAC STEP7,Labeview or equivalent
4. Experience in leading quality and other improvement projects through multi-department teams is required

Language skills:

     Good communication skills, can communicate in both Chinese and English (listening and speaking).

Other skills and knowledge:

1. Principles of electrical power distribution, controllers and drives signals, serial communications protocols
2. Significance of controller configuration data and motor-drive parameter data
3. PLC programming skill is preferred. Eg, SIMATAC STEP7.
4. Microsoft’s Visual Basic 6  and labview programming skill is preferred
5. Electronic trouble shooting techniques
6. Working knowledge of basic electrical components, circuits and wiring, safe working practices on machines with mechanical, electrical and thermal hazards
7. Usage of multimeter for basic voltage, current and continuity measurement checks
8. Good at trouble shooting on complex process issues
