Data Engineer - Semiconductor Service (VSS)
About Us: Join Edwards, a leader in the Semiconductor sector and part of the Atlas Copco Group. We're expanding our digital team to support rapid industry growth.
Your Mission: As a Data Engineer, you'll optimize our data architecture and pipelines, ensuring high-quality data for analytics. You'll support developers, data analysts, and scientists, and may travel between Edwards and customer sites.
Here’s how you will help:
• You will create, test, and maintain data pipelines in Azure Data Factory.
• Automate processes and optimize data delivery.
• Ensure infrastructure supports data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• You will collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data issues.
• You will develop tools for analytics and data science teams.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages.
• Use analysis tools to link and contextualize data.
• You will work on analytics and predictive models with business analysts and solution architects.
• Collaborate with IS and DevOps teams on big data infrastructure.
To succeed you need:
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data pipelines, architectures, and tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and scripting languages (Python, Java, C++, Scala).
• Experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience in cross-functional team environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; PowerBI is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning and SAP is beneficial.
