Contact Data Administrator 

Contact information is key to Atlas Copco Compressors’ day-to-day operations to provide the best customer experience possible as well as contact our customers with the latest information. The Contact Data Administrator role is a new role that will investigate the current status of our customers’ contact information and find best solutions possible to resolve any issues with this information. The desired candidate will have an interest in developing their skills in data management as well as enjoying understanding technical processes, problem solving and delivering critical solutions to support the business.

The role:

  • Analysis of Contact Data. Completing a full and regular analysis of our contact data to understand our starting position when managing and improving this data. This includes looking at all different types of contacts on multiple systems. 

  • Understand the Mapping of Contacts Between Systems. Understand how the contacts work between systems, which ones appear on multiple systems and where the master information sits. Work alongside fellow team members, other colleagues and divisional representatives.  

  • Improve and Enhance Contact Data Quality. A key function for this role is to improve the data quality of our contacts. This will be through reducing the number of unused contacts, removal of duplicate contacts, highlight those missing key information, ensure correct formatting use, enhancing the data via different sources and ensure any unsubscribe contacts have been updated accordingly to align with GDPR policies.  

  • Integration of Contact Data. As the business grows through acquisitions so does the database that comes with the migration into our systems. Work alongside other members of the team and the acquired companies to ensure a smooth transition into our systems for the contact data.  

  • Develop and Document Contact Process. Create processes around different aspects of contact data and that in which it impacts to ensure efficiency. Making sure all processes are documented and are accessible as required.  

  • Supporting Marketing Teams with Contact Data. Work with the marketing and communications teams (and others) to ensure the highest quality data is collected from the CRM system and used in the best way possible for marketing purposes.  

  • Contact Data Based Projects. Work alongside others on a variety of projects to improve contact data such as telemarketing campaigns or e-shots which produce important details on contact status and errors. 

  • CRM System Support. Supporting the CRM team with the upkeep of the contact side of the system, ensuring that our contact data is as accurate as possible. Assisting with any projects around contact information.  

To succeed, you will need:

  • Has meticulous attention to detail. 

  • Have a high level of analytical skills and enjoys working with large quantities of data, which will be key to succeeding in this role  

  • Have at least an intermediate level skillset of working with a number of computing applications, essentially Microsoft Excel 

  • Any other system history or previous experience of SAP is desirable but not essential; if not someone who is able to pick up new systems easily and has a willingness to learn 

  • Have good communication skills through various methods including verbally and written 

  • Can understand and work with many different processes and is able to identify possible improvements to these processes in the future 

  • Be able to work well and effectively in a team  

  • Be a proactive thinker with a determination to succeed
